These terms govern your use of EMData (“the Service”), operated by [legal entity name], [registered address] (“we”, “us”). By creating an account you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You need an account to use the Service. When you register you agree to give accurate details and to keep them up to date.
You are responsible for what happens under your account, including keeping your password to yourself. Tell us at [contact email] as soon as you believe someone else has access to it. We will never ask you for your password.
The Service offers two kinds of account:
An account is for one person. Sharing credentials with someone else makes you responsible for what they do.
A company account may invite other people to its team. If you own a company account you decide who joins it, what role they have, and when they leave. You are responsible for making sure the people you invite are entitled to see whatever the team holds.
Being invited to a team does not give you any rights over the company account itself.

You can issue API tokens to let other software act on your behalf. A token carries the permissions you gave it and is equivalent to your credentials for those actions. Keep tokens secret, give each integration its own, and revoke any token you no longer need or believe has leaked.
We may revoke tokens if we believe they have been compromised or are being used in breach of these terms.
Your data stays yours. You grant us only the permission we need to host, process and back it up in order to run the Service for you.
You are responsible for having the right to store whatever you put into the Service, and for keeping your own copies of anything you would not want to lose.
How we handle personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
We work to keep the Service available, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may take it down for maintenance, and we may change or remove features.
The Service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows.
You can delete your account at any time from your profile page.
Deleting an account hides it and the teams it owns, and both can be restored for [retention period] if you ask us at [contact email]. After that they are removed permanently. Two things are not reversible: API tokens are revoked immediately and permanently, because a credential that may have leaked should not come back, and your email address stays reserved so that a new account cannot be created against the history of the old one.
We may suspend or end an account that breaches these terms, or where we are required to by law. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you first.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, or loss of data. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you we will tell you by email, or in the Service, before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new terms.
These terms are governed by the law of [jurisdiction], and disputes will be heard by the courts of [jurisdiction].
